The article "It's right nearby: how entrepreneurs use spatial bricolage to overcome resource constraints" (Free Access) by Prof. Dr Steffen Korsgaard (University of Southern Denmark/Kolding/Denmark), Ass. Prof. Sabine Müller (Aarhus University/Denmark) and Prof. Dr Friederike Welter (IfM Bonn/University of Siegen) has been awarded the title "highly recommended" by the editors of "Entrepreneurship & Regional Development".
They present in their article how entrepreneurs in rural peripheral areas mobilise the resources they need. They identified three ways: The activities encompassed local sourcing, including a creative re-enactment of locally available resources, commodification through storytelling, and community involvement.
