How can research institutions, competence centres and universities support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the use of artificial intelligence? At the online conference "Beyondwork 2020" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Dr. Annette Icks demonstrated in the session "Global AI innovation & regional networks" on 22 October what distinguishes a good regional infrastructure for knowledge transfer to SMEs.
Due to the German EU Council Presidency, the BMBF hosted this year's conference at which representatives of European politics, research, industry and the social partners discuss working worlds of tomorrow.
