Participation in external events Effects of self-employment on the partnership

Dr Stefan Schneck presented his research results on the behaviour of self-employed people in their business and private life at the 43rd conference of the Eurasia Business and Economic Society (EBES), which took place in mid-April in Madrid.

According to the results of a large household survey, self-employed people not only make professional decisions but also interfere in the private decisions of their partners. Accordingly, the frequency of disagreements increases when one of the partners is self-employed.

The IfM researcher also chaired the education session at the EBES conference.
