Institutional frameworks and informal institutions play an essential role in entrepreneurship development. However, entrepreneurial behaviour is also influenced, for example, by unwritten rules and values in a country. Prof. Dr Friederike Welter (IfM Bonn/University of Siegen) of Siegen) and Ass.Prof. Mirela Xheneti (University of Sussex/UK) show the interplay between these formal and informal institutions in their chapter "Incentives, Values, and the Creation of Opportunities for Action and Interaction".

Their article has been published in "The Routledge Handbook of Comparative Economic Systems" by Prof. Dr Bruno Dallago and Dr Sara Casagrande (University of Trento/Italy).
