The Siegen University professor and president of the IfM Bonn was re-elected as chairwoman of the expert advisory board at the constituent meeting of the “EXIST - Start-ups from Science” funding programme.
The EXIST funding programme, initiated in 1998 and whcih has since undergone several rounds of development, is ladvised by aboard of experts where representatives from science, business, financeare represented.
The BMWK's funding programme aims to establish an entrepreneurial culture at universities and research institutions. It supports start-ups in spinning off from science. It aims to inspire and educate students, scientists, and graduates to start-up businesses.
