The number of dependent employees is increasing in Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg district, while the number of self-employed and start-ups is declining. Olga Suprinovič asked in her presentation to the Economic Circle of the International Club in Bonn early in April which factors could be decisive for this. As a location of numerous (non-)university research institutions, with a relatively young, well-educated population and excellent transport and digital infrastructure, the city has excellent conditions for business start-ups.
