Researchers of the IfM Bonn presented the results of research conducted at the Institute and in cooperation with other researchers at the Interdisciplinary Annual Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs (G-Forum) at the end of September: Dr Olivier Butkowski showed in his paper on "Hybrid Self-Employment in Germany" that this has been an underestimated phenomenon until now. Dr André Pahnke explored the question of the scope to which a desired succession process actually becomes reality. Dr Markus Rieger-Fels presented research results on "Mittelstand and SMEs in the Corona Pandemic".
Dr Sebastian Nielen reported on "The benefits of researcher turnover for different types of innovation" and also chaired the session on "Innovation Process".
The 25th Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs took place in Dresden end of September.
