In traditional labour markets, higher education usually leads to higher pay - but not in the online gig economy.
Prof. Dr Andrea Herrmann (Radboud University Nijmegen/Niederlande) shows in her policy brief "How the Online Gig Economy Challenges The Education-Income Paradigm" which factors have an effect on payment in this labour market. She also gives recommendations on how to counteract the danger of precarious working conditions in the online gig economy.
