Three IfM Bonn researchers were honoured at the 35th Research in Entrepreneurship and Small Business (RENT) conference in Turku/Finland: Dr Siegrun Brink, Dr Susanne Schlepphorst and Prof Dr Friederike Welter (IfM Bonn/University of Siegen) won the Best Poster Award for their poster "Legitimacy of women entrepreneurs - forced to behave according to rules?". Dr Siegrun Brink was one of three winners of the Best Reviewer Award.
In a presentation, Dr Rosemarie Kay explored the question how women entrepreneurs succeed in compensating for a poorer resource endowment compared to companies run by men and thus achieve a comparable company performance. Dr Jonas Löher presented another poster on the research results "Lending platforms on the rise: Which void are they filling for SMEs".
