Dr Siegrun Brink presented the "Future Panel Mittelstand 2022" at the Green Business Dialogue in mid-May to show how much the shortage of skilled workers currently affects the Mittelstand companies.
For the second time after 2021, managers had identified the increasing shortage of skilled workers as their most significant challenge in late summer. This was followed at that time by the topics "climate change and sustainability", "energy supply and security", "digitalisation", and "inflation/crises".
