Besides the monetary costs, incomprehensible requirements, repetitive documentation and inefficient processes make small and medium-sized construction companies (SMEs) less and less willing to participate in public tenders.
Invited by the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts, Dr Sebastian Schneider presented the obstacles to various contract advisory services from all over Germany. He also showed how the public procurement process could be made easier, based on various IfM studies.
