Entrepreneurship research has traditionally focused primarily on companies with exceptional developments. In their editorial article "Recalibrating Entrepreneurship Research: Decolonising and Embracing the Pluralism of Entrepreneurial Activity", Professor Robert Nason (McGill University, Montreal, Canada), Professor Pablo Muňoz (Durham University, UK), Professor Helen Haugh (University of Cambridge/UK), Professor Friederike Welter (IfM Bonn/University of Siegen), Professor Gerard George (Georgetown University Washington/USA) and Professor Shameen Prashantham (China Europe International Business School Shanghai/China) argue for focusing more on everyday entrepreneurship.
In their view, this approach can provide new insights into entrepreneurial development and create so a basis for theories that can be better applied to the entire spectrum of entrepreneurial activities. Their editorial contribution introduces the special issue "Recalibrating Entrepreneurship Research" of the Journal of Management Studies.
