There has been ongoing public debate for some time as to whether there is a need for a new legal form known as the "Gesellschaft mit gebundenem Vermögen" (GmgV). At the Federal-State Committee on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Berlin in early October, Dr Nadine Schlömer-Laufen gave an overview of the specific features of this new legal form. She then presented the IfM’s analysis of the GmgV from an economic perspective, which arrives at a critical conclusion.
Later in the conference, Peter Kranzusch presented the IfM Bonn’s analysis of growth trends in the service sector. He also discussed the sectors of the future and the potential need for funding.
