The IfM Bonn's latest SME Barometer shows that turnover and profits of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) fell again in the third quarter. By contrast, the positive trend in investment continued.
Overall, the economic situation of SMEs in the eurozone remains better than that of SMEs in Germany. Only with regard to investment has the gap between SMEs in the euro area and SMEs in Germany decreased again.
