How do academic spin-offs differ from start-ups in general? Dr Natalia Gorynia-Pfeffer and Julia Schauer (both from the RKW Competence Centre) explore this question in their Policy Brief using data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). Their finding: there are clear differences, which are also relevant for start-up support.
Their article has been published in the policy brief series "Entrepreneurship in Focus"’ by the research network Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs e.V. and IfM Bonn.
