Mittelstand businesses in Germany are not only of great economic importance, but within the framework of the social market economy, they also fulfil an important stabilising function for social cohesion. In this paper, the IfM Bonn presents proposals on how the revitalisation of the economy can be designed in a way that is favourable to Mittelstand businesses.
