Covid 19, digitalisation, Green Deal – the Mittelstand will face great challenges in the coming years in addition to their sector and size-specific tasks. In their article, the authors show what policy makers should take into mind in terms of legislation and the design of support measures from the perspective of Mittelstand research, so that the competitiveness and innovative capacity of Mittelstand companies are strengthened in the long term.
