Bio

Robert Blackburn is Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Liverpool. He has worked with the OECD, the European Commission and Parliament, various UK government departments and banks and support agencies. Robert is an Academician of the National Academy of Social Sciences; a Fellow of the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship; a Trustee and Treasurer of the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies; a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and is holder of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion. Robert Blackburn is Editor-in-Chief of the International Small Business Journal (http://isb.sagepub.com/). He has supervised and examined numerous doctoral students in the field. In his spare time he is a keen cyclist.
