Participation in external events Productive scientific discussion at the University of Siegen

Artificial intelligence can be used to identify challenges for small and medium-sized enterprises at an early stage. This is the conclusion of a research project conducted by IfM Bonn. At the end of June, Dr Sebastian Nielen presented the structure of the individual foresight processes to scientists at the University of Siegen and outlined the results achieved so far.

Michael Holz highlighted in his presentation how planning and approval procedures for industrial building projects can be accelerated from the perspective of SME research. Simple, transparent and stable legal regulations contribute to this, along with digital solutions and a ‘culture of empowerment’ in the relevant authorities, which encourages and enables the responsible employees to make more pragmatic use of their discretionary powers.
