Around 38,000 business handovers are currently planned each year. In their article "Business Succession in Germany: The Role of Women-Led Companies", Dr Rosemarie Kay, Dr Markus Rieger-Fels and Dr Nadine Schlömer-Laufen examine the influence of gender on the implementation of succession plans and whether the succession potential of women has already been exhausted.

Their article has been published in the book "Women in Leadership: Successful Succession in Family Businesses".
