The first half of 2021 was still characterized by the coronavirus pandemic. However, the lockdowns have hardly had any impact on the scope of start-up activities. The expected increase in company closures also failed to materialize, partly because of the subsidies. Since the majority of companies can carry out their business, there is little to suggest that a wave of company liquidations will start in the second half of the year.
